Autumn Activities

Autumn is a great time of year for activities! Why not try some of the ones below?

Autumn table dispaly
Take a walk in the park, or even in the garden, and get the children to collect interesting autumn objects, such as leaves, conkers and acorns. Get the children to display their items on a large table.
Make Autumn coloured handprints like the one pictured above, you can even paint multicolours on the hand to give a real autumn leaf effect! When dry, cut the handprints into leaf shapes and place into a  bowl and place alongside the other Autumn leaves and items.

Autumn tree
Using the handprinted leaves together with leaves collected from the garden or park, tie them to an old branch using cotton. The more handprinted leaves, the better the tree will look! Stick conkers to the bottom of the display to look like they have falen from your handprint tree.

Autumn pictures
Use handprinted leaves and items from the garden to create a beautiful Autumn collage.
Use a large piece of card and strong glue (child friendly) and let the children arrange and stick down their Autumn items.
